More Than 111,000 Polkamon Eggs Claimed as 24hr Countdown Begins.
It’s only been a few short days since we announced our #ClaimYourEgg campaign, and already we are making history with more than 111,000 unique addresses having claimed their mysterious Polkamon egg. In gas fees alone, we estimate Polkamon fans have spent more than $1 million claiming eggs.
In less than 24 hours, the mysterious Polkamon eggs will hatch and 80 randomly-selected winners will receive their very own Moonrock Capital x Morningstar Ventures Silver Baby Dragon. This represents the first time ever an NFT has been given away in this manner and subsequently used to grant access to a token offering. We believe this whitelisting model epitomises the way in which Polkamon combines the best of NFTs with strong token metrics. In doing so, we are gaining the support of hardcore NFT collectors and altcoin traders alike.
Furthermore, by minting the Baby Dragon NFT’s before the IDO date we’re introducing a unique and never-before-seen dynamic. The NFTs, and with them their Polkastarter allocations, can actually be traded prior to when we take the Baby Dragon holder snapshot at 7am UTC, March 31st.
